Virtual Vintage® Blues DP402W.

Vad behöver du för att kunna spela blues med en Strat®? Virtual Vintage® Blues har mer kraft och värme än en typisk single-coil. Du kan verkligen höra dessa egenskaper när du spelar Virtual Vintage® Blues. Den tål hårt plockande och öppnar upp sig när du spelar med en överdriven förstärkare. I stället för att krympa bort hoppar ljudet ut ur högtalarna. De här egenskaperna är verkligen användbara för att få ett fett halsljud, men de är enastående för stallpositionen, särskilt om du har en gitarr med tunt ljud eller använder strängar med lätt gauge. Det är en bryggmick med tufft ljud för varmare gitarrer och ett bra val för hals- och mellanläge tillsammans med en fullstor brygghumbucker. Precis som resten av Virtual Vintage®-familjen är den helt tyst, det finns praktiskt taget inget brum alls.

Virtual Vintage® Blues Model är en mer muskulös pickup än typiska vintage single-coils. Till skillnad från pickuper med tunnare ljud står den pall för hårt plockande och ljudet verkar expandera genom en överdriven förstärkare i stället för att krympa bort. Den här egenskapen är mycket användbar i halspositionen, om du har en gitarr med tunn klang och vill göra tonen fetare. Med varmare klingande gitarrer är det en stark, tufft klingande bryggpickup. Vi rekommenderar att du använder 500K-kontroller för utökad frekvensåtergivning, även om det inte är något problem att använda 250K-kontroller om du gillar den varmare tonen de ger.

What do you need in order to play blues with a Strat®? The Virtual Vintage® Blues has more power and warmth than a typical single-coil. You can really hear these qualities when you’re playing the Virtual Vintage® Blues. It withstands hard picking and opens up when you’re playing with an overdriven amp. Instead of shrinking away, the sound jumps out of the speakers. These qualities are really useful for getting a fat neck position sound, but they’re outstanding for the bridge position particularly if you have a thin-sounding guitar or use light gauge strings. It’s a tough sounding bridge pickup with warmer guitars, and makes a good neck and middle choice to match with a full-size bridge humbucker. As the rest of the Virtual Vintage® family, it’s dead quiet; there’s practically no hum at all.

Recommended For Bridge, but can be used in all positions.

The Virtual Vintage® Blues Model is a more muscular pickup than typical vintage single-coils. Unlike thinner-sounding pickups, it stands up to hard picking the sound seems to expand through an overdriven amp instead of shrinking away. This quality is really useful for the neck position, if you have a thin-sounding guitar and want to fatten the tone. With warmer-sounding guitars, it’s a strong, tough-sounding bridge pickup. We recommend using 500K controls for extended frequency response, although there’s no problem using 250K controls if you like the warmer tone they provide.
