EMG JVX Set är en blandning av gammalt och nytt, med traditionella exponerade polstycken och EMG:s X-serie förförstärkare. Denna förförstärkare överbryggar klyftan mellan passiv och aktiv ton och känsla. Utvecklad för att leverera den klassiska tonen och utseendet av en vintage jazzbas utan det brus som ofta förknippas med vintage passiva pickuper. Denna pickup upprätthåller den ”blekade” attacken av offset-polpjäserna som många spelare föredrar i kombination med vår mest dynamiska förförstärkare.
