Ett välkänt brasilianskt instrument, Cuica finns i en mängd olika stilar där den spelar en viktig roll. Medan ena handen gnuggar det inre bambuskaftet med en fuktig trasa, kontrollerar den andra handen trycket på huvudet och ändrar därigenom tonhöjden och skapar melodier.

A well-known Brazilian instrument, the Cuica is present in a wide variety of styles where it plays an important role. While one hand rubs the internal bamboo shaft with a moist cloth, the other hand controls the pressure of the head, thereby changing the pitch of the tone creating melodies.
