Playing with different mallets can change the sound characteristics
With small hard mallets, the singing bowl becomes very dominant in the overtone range – all the bright tones are clearly brought out
With thicker, soft mallets, the bowl sounds much deeper and the strongly dominant low frequencies can be heard and felt
This bowl is suitable for use with a variety of different mallet techniques on the whole body
