Covers one third of the drumhead surface
Direct drumhead contact for soft and quiet playing
Can be used on batter and resonant drumheads
Damping of the resonant drumhead reduces overtones and provides a controlled, more precise and drier sound and less sustain
Damping of the batter head reduces overtones and provides a warmer sound, more punch and less sustain
