Solid alderkropp
BB 435:s kropp är tillverkad av lätt al för att producera en jämn, djup baston med ett biffigt mellanregister och en lite fräsande high end. Dess starka, fylliga ljud fungerar bra när det paras ihop med lönnens ljusstyrka, vilket ger massor av djup och dynamik till den övergripande tonen.

Hals i 5 delar av lönn/mahogny
Kombinationen av lönn/mahogny ger otrolig stabilitet, samtidigt som den erbjuder det bästa av båda tonträden för ett ljust, mjukt ljud. Halsen är designad med en otroligt tunn profil, vilket förbättrar dess spelbarhet och känsla för att passa moderna och traditionella spelare. Tillsammans med en greppbräda i rosenträ ger de tre träslagen basen en komplex high end och en mjuk spelupplevelse. 6-bults geringshalsled
Yamahas hals är fäst vid kroppen med en 6-bults geringshalsförband, vilket erbjuder en mer effektiv överföring av strängvibrationer som trodde kroppen än konventionella bultförband. Geringsleden håller nacken närmare kroppen för att ge ett tätare grepp och förbättra sustain och resonans, vilket gör att basen kan ge liv åt varje ton.

Basens vintage plus ljusbrygga förbättrar strängarnas övergripande sustain och resonans genom att införliva en unik ”diagonal kropp genom strängning”. Detta uppnås genom att vinkla strängarna vid sadeln för att passera genom kroppen i en 45-graders vinkel, vilket ger mindre belastning på strängarna i motsats till den mer traditionella vertikala strängningen. Denna metod gör att bron kan överföra strängvibrationerna till kroppen på ett tillförlitligt och effektivt sätt. Vintage plus-bryggan låter också strängarna fästas i bakänden och har en förskjuten sadel för den låga B-strängen.

5-Piece Maple/Mahogany Neck
The maple/mahogany combination delivers incredible stability, while offering the best of both tonewoods for a bright, mellow sound. The neck is designed with an incredibly thin profile, improving its playability and feel to suit modern and traditional players. Coupled with a rosewood fingerboard, the 3 woods provide the bass with a complex high end and a smooth playing experience. 6-Bolt Miter Neck Joint
The Yamaha’s neck is attached to the body with a 6-bolt miter neck joint, offering a more efficient transfer of string vibration thought the body than conventional bolt-on joints. The miter joint holds the neck closer to the body to provide a tighter hold and improving sustain and resonance, allowing the bass to bring life to every note.

Custom V5 Pickups
The Yamaha BB 435 is equipped with a set of powerful custom V5 pickups, with a split single-coil at the neck and a bar single-coil at the bridge. This configuration is perfect for players who enjoy playing a wide range of musical styles, offering the best of split and bar pickup tones. The custom V5 pickups deliver the vintage BB sound, providing players with a classic, well-balanced tone and an excellent articulation. The pickups have been slightly updated to produce a brighter sound, allowing the bass to cut through the mix during performances. A single tone control and 2 volume controls provide versatile tone shaping, allowing players to dial in the perfect sound for their playing.

Vintage Plus Light Bridge
The bass’ vintage plus light bridge enhances the overall sustain and resonance of the strings by incorporation a unique ‘diagonal body through stringing’. This is achieved by angling the strings at the saddle to pass through the body at a 45-degree angle, placing less stress on the strings as opposed to the more traditional vertical stringing. This method allows the bridge to transfer the string vibrations to the body reliably and efficiently. The vintage plus bridge also allows the strings to be attached to the tail end and features an offset saddle for the low B string.
